62% of Indonesian People Eat More During Ramadan!!!!!

Applications reservations and restaurant directory Qraved conducted a survey in June 2016, followed by 1,500 correspondent in Jakarta. The survey results reveal that 62% of people get more than five times the invitation to break the fast.

Furthermore, 19% admitted to having received 1 to 2 iftar invitation and the last 19% receive 3 to 4 invitations fasting.

The data also mention that women are more often iftar outside than men. 73% of women claimed more do go together outside than men who only reached 27%.

Iftar is currently a new culture in Indonesia is not only celebrated by Muslims. Some 62% of correspondents admitted that iftar be a moment of reunion and share the joy with an old friend or colleague school / college.

Then, 23% of them say that the moment of breaking the fast is a good time to increase familiarity with fellow office and the remaining 15% of correspondents claiming to want to add warmth with the family.

Invitations to break the fast together affect the amount of money spent on eating out. Some 63% of people claimed to spend more money than the typical day when they get together with friends, work colleagues or family.

According to official information we received, 51% correspondent stated that they spend Rp 100,000 - Rp 300,000 more compared to their daily habits.

Then 31% of correspondents declared spend Rp 400,000 - Rp 500,000 more. Then 18% of correspondents claimed to spend Rp 500,000 or larger than usual Ramadan iftar at the invitation of friends, colleagues, and family.

Iftar invitations and rising rupiah spent by people in the month of Ramadan, certainly a positive impact on the restaurant business.

Instead, customers are also looking attractive promotions from restaurants as their basic considerations determine which restaurant they will choose to break the fast.

As many as 37% of correspondents claiming to seek a recommendation and sale of restaurants to break the fast of the application or directory sites like Qraved restaurant.
